Neurodevelopmental firm Evolve in North East move
A neurodevelopmental and psychology support provider has expanded.
Evolve has opened a base in Gosforth, Newcastle.
Bosses say the six-clinician venture will provide ADHD and autism assessments that will “empower people to move forward”.
The Gosforth site – in Dobson House – adds to bases in Exeter, Norwich, Huddersfield and Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Heather Kell, Evolve operations manager, said it will help ease a backlog of demand.
She said: “There are thousands of people in the North East living with uncertainty as they wait for themselves or their child to be assessed for a possible neurodivergence diagnosis.
“We are now able to support people across the region by providing ADHD and autism assessments.”
Dr Laura Powling, Evolve founder and clinical psychologist, added: “Our experienced clinicians have the expertise to ensure people exploring a diagnosis with us will feel seen, heard and taken care of through their assessment.”
