Cyber firm Red Helix grows with Risk Crew deal
A cybersecurity firm has expanded with a takeover.
Red Helix has bought security consultancy Risk Crew.
Officials say the move will expand Aylesbury-headquartered Red Helix’s client offer “with new cyber assurance capabilities”.
Risk Crew, based in London, provides governance risk and compliance consultancy and penetration testing to businesses across the UK and Europe.
Marion Stewart, Red Helix chief executive, said: “The scale of cyber risks faced by businesses has never been greater, and we are committed to supporting clients in the fight against cybercrime.
“Adding broader cyber assurance services and skills to our business bolsters our ability to deliver on this mission.”
Richard Hollis, Risk Crew chief executive, added: “The depth of knowledge and experience among our teams will make us an exceptional provider of cyber services.”
LDC invested in Red Helix in 2021 to boost products, services and explore takeover targets.
Ana-Maria Garaba, LDC investment manager, added: “The Red Helix team is making impressive progress against their strategy, completing acquisitions that enhance what they can offer in today’s fast-moving business landscape.”
