Adderstone Living expands into North West
Affordable housing developer Adderstone Living has opened a new office in Ashton-under-Lyne and appointed Mark Sexton as regional director.
The North West base becomes the company’s fourth regional hub, joining its North East headquarters and operations in Yorkshire and the Midlands, as part of its nationwide growth strategy.
Mark brings over 25 years’ experience in residential development, land acquisition and planning, most recently as development director at Wiggett Construction Group.
He will lead Adderstone Living’s activity across Greater Manchester, working with housing associations, investors and local authorities to deliver high quality affordable homes.
Mark said: “Adderstone Living has built a strong reputation for doing things the right way- with real integrity and ambition.
“There’s a clear sense of purpose behind everything the business does, and I’m delighted to help grow that impact in the North West.”
Stephen McCoy, Adderstone living director, added: “Mark’s appointment is an important step in our national growth.
“With established, experienced teams now operating in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, we’re set up to deliver high-quality, affordable housing at real scale.
“Mark brings deep-rooted knowledge of the North West market and he will be instrumental in strengthening our local presence and partnerships across the region.”
Ian Baggett, founder and chief executive of Adderstone Group, added: “Adderstone Group has been developing real estate to meet society's needs for over three decades.
“I can’t think of a more vital cause than the current need for quality affordable homes- and no team better placed to deliver them than Adderstone Living.”
