
Cartwright strengthens leadership with board appointments
Full-service marketing agency Cartwright has announced two senior appointments as part of its ongoing expansion.
Alex Jones, previously head of digital, has been appointed as director after tripling the size of the agency’s digital team in the past year.
He said: “It’s been fantastic to see our digital offer go from strength to strength and play such a central role in delivering results for our clients.
“Becoming a director is an exciting next step and I’m looking forward to helping shape the agency’s continued growth, driving innovation across our services and creating even more opportunities for our brilliant team.”
Katie Nelson also takes on additional responsibilities as head of construction, leading the agency’s built environment offer, where she has managed key accounts since 2018.
She added: “The built environment is one of the most exciting and important sectors we work in and one where Cartwright is already trusted to deliver real impact.
“Effective communications in the sector rely heavily on a clear understanding of the industry and how to reach the right audiences in the right way to drive results that make a difference.
“Taking on this role alongside my responsibilities as director is about taking that further: supporting our brilliant team, driving new opportunities, and making sure our clients see real impact as we continue to champion the people and projects shaping places and communities across the UK.”
In further changes, Ollie Sargent has been named strategic director for the built environment and Addie Kenogbon-Harley becomes client care director.
Cartwright now has an almost 40-strong team across PR, digital, social media, brand and marketing, operating from offices in Nottingham, London and Birmingham.
