Gym operator adds muscle with new base
A fitness firm has bulked up operations with a £1.2 million expansion.
OneGym is opening a base in Consett, County Durham.
Bosses say the 17,000sq ft site, on Consett Business Park, will create eight jobs and become OneGym’s 13th North East hub.
Director Paul Pearson said: “Our Consett site has high-spec machines, top-quality cardio, free weights and a great space for functional training.
“We’ve also included a sauna, and built a timetable of classes shaped around what members want.
“Consett has been on our radar for a long time, so it’s fantastic to finally bring OneGym here.”
The gym is set to open on Saturday, September 20.
