Languages firm takes off with airport partnership
A language services provider is flying high with an aviation hub agreement.
AaGlobal Language Services is working with Humberside Airport on a digital marketing campaign.
Bosses say the venture will target international business travellers by using the airport’s screens in a 12-month deal marking the 15th anniversary of AaGlobal’s arrival in Hull.
Launched by chief executive Kirk Akdemir in Worcester more than 30 years ago, AaGlobal’s portfolio includes more than 15,000 linguists operating worldwide covering in excess of 500 languages and dialects.
It is also a partner of the International Trade Centre within Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce.
Kirk said: “Having established ourselves as the market leader in our region, we feel now is the right time to reach out to a wider business audience.
“The initial digital campaign reflects how we have grown and developed as a business since expanding to Hull in 2011.
“The partnership with Humberside Airport enables us to work closely with another key player in the region’s international business community.”
Tracey Frankish-Creed, Humberside Airport business partners and marketing executive, added: “We are pleased to welcome AaGlobal on board.
“Together, we are helping connect the Humber region to the world.”
