Design company scores Leeds United contract
An interior design firm is celebrating after completing a football deal.
DT Sports has revamped hospitality and corporate entertaining space at Leeds United’s Elland Road.
The work has delivered areas including the LUFC 1919 Suite; The Gary Speed Suite; Peter Lorimer Steakhouse; and The Hisense Leeds Lounge.
The LUFC 1919 Suite hosts 60 people, with the Gary Speed Suite designed to welcome up to 150 football guests and hold non-matchday conferences and meetings.
The Hisense Leeds Lounge can accommodate 350 guests, with The Peter Lorimer Steakhouse offering a BBQ-style menu in a Texan-themed interior.
DT Sports is a division of Leeds-headquartered Design Tonic, which has worked with Leeds United for a number of years.
Amanda Cook, Design Tonic co-founder, said: “It has been a privilege for DT Sports to deliver these latest projects.
“Delivering multiple suites simultaneously, alongside a range of partners and to a tight deadline, was a significant challenge, but the team rose to the occasion.”
Mark Broadley, Leeds United’s head of IT and facilities, said: “These new spaces take our offer to the next level; the response from guests and spectators has been fantastic.”
Design Tonic has further offices in Sheffield and Newcastle.
