Eunomia appoints new chief executive
Global sustainability consultancy Eunomia has appointed environmental and digital expert Mike Bell as its new chief executive, bringing over 20 years of experience in business transformation, technology and strategy across multiple sectors.
Mike joins from Ricardo plc, where he served as chief strategy and digital officer, leading the company’s shift into environment and energy transition, launching digital platforms and managing acquisitions in environmental advisory and energy modelling.
He has also held senior leadership roles at Jaguar Land Rover, Canonical, Laird and United Utilities.
Mike said: “I’m thrilled to join Eunomia’s talented team.
“We have globally recognised thought leaders with cross-sector, joined-up sustainability expertise.
“Our clients face accelerating pressures – from circular economy regulation to nature and net-zero commitments.
“My priority is to deepen our science-led advisory, scale digital and data capabilities, and partner with clients to turn ambition into measurable outcomes for people, planet and performance.
“I’m looking forward to working with the many talented consultants at Eunomia to take their commercial strategy to the next level so they can have even more impact.
“I’ll also be drawing from my digital transformation and commercial experience to support the teams to get the innovative products and service lines they are producing in front of the audiences who really need them.”
Mike’s appointment marks a new chapter for Eunomia as it expands its B Corp-certified consultancy to support sectors including packaging, water, energy, chemicals, automotive, healthcare and food producers in transitioning to circular, nature-positive and low-carbon business models.
Eunomia’s chairperson Joe Papineschi added” “I’m thrilled to welcome Mike to the team, his values mean he is a great fit for our culture – something we’re fiercely proud of – and his breadth of expertise and leadership skills are going to support us to deliver our ambitious plans for the future.
“We have some exciting news to announce next year for our 25th anniversary – watch this space!”
