
Jet Plant Hire strengthens board
Jet Plant Hire, a sustainable road planing firm in Evesham, Worcestershire, has appointed a new board to deliver its ambitious five-year strategy.
Simon Bithell steps up as managing director, bringing his extensive operational experience to lead the business, and is supported by Ian Mitchell in the newly created role of commercial director, focusing on strengthening client relationships and driving growth.
Meanwhile, John Lee takes on the role of operations director; Tina Greenhill leads as health, safety and sustainability Director; and Rachel Anderson continues as head of dinance, providing strategic oversight and continuity.
Business owner Sean Witheford will move into the position of executive chair to guide the company through its next phase of expansion.
The refreshed leadership team brings extensive experience from global companies including DHL, Shell, Volvo Trucks and KNP Logistics Group, alongside deep knowledge of Jet’s 36-year heritage.
Together, they will drive sustainable growth while maintaining the company’s strong focus on ethics, robust processes, and industry-leading safety standards.
