Building consultancy secures student digs work
A property surveying and project management firm has secured student accommodation work.
Silverstone Building Consultancy is carrying out pre-acquisition surveys on a UK-wide portfolio for a private lodgings provider.
Work includes condition reviews to highlight potential remedial works and insurance cost assessments across houses in multiple occupation and purpose-built and converted student blocks across Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Liverpool, Manchester and York.
Ross Haggie, senior building surveyor at Silverstone Building Consultancy, which has offices in Leeds, London and Newcastle, said: “It’s a great contract to work on and has been a real team effort so far – involving surveyors based at our three offices.
“The client is benefiting from consistent surveys across their portfolio, which will prove incredibly valuable.”
