Leeds dealership drives home global award
A car dealership has been recognised with an international award for its performance and customer service.
Evans Halshaw Hyundai Leeds has been named Hyundai Global Dealer Group of the Year (United Kingdom), marking its 20th anniversary as part of the brand’s UK network.
The accolade was presented by Hyundai Motor Company UK president Ashley Andrew during a celebration at the Gelderd Road showroom.
Employing 39 people in Holbeck, the dealership was commended for excellence across sales, service and customer experience.
Since joining Hyundai in 2005, Evans Halshaw has supported thousands of drivers and continues to grow with ongoing investment in new sites.
Gary Armstrong, managing director of Evans Halshaw, said: “Being presented with this award in dealership made this achievement even more meaningful.
“Winning is a true reflection of the passion, dedication, and expertise of our people.
“To be recognised on a global level while celebrating 20-years representing Hyundai in Leeds is something we are extremely proud of.”
Paul Augey, head of business at Hyundai Leeds, added: “This award is a reflection of our investment in people, in our facilities, and in innovation.
“Receiving it here at the dealership makes it all the more meaningful, because it celebrates the dedication of our team and the customer-first culture they create every day.”
