Renewables firm starts housing partnership
A renewables and home improvement firm has kicked off a ten-year housing provider partnership.
PHS Solutions is working with Gentoo Group on the ‘Gentogether’ venture.
Working alongside the Sunderland-headquartered housing association, Esh Construction and RE:GEN Group, PHS Solutions' bosses say it will improve thousands of homes’ sustainability credentials and generate more than £32 million in social value.
The alliance was celebrated at an event where speakers highlighted the importance of residents’ voices in shaping services and strengthening collaboration between partners to deliver long-term community benefits.
Adam Holdsworth, capital works contract manager at Houghton-le-Spring-based PHS Solutions, said: “Signing the ‘Gentogether’ pledge demonstrates our promise to listen, respond and deliver the best possible outcomes for customers every day.”
Brenda Naisby, customer board member, added: “Gentoo customers have been at the heart of the ‘Gentogether’ partnership from the very beginning – shaping ideas, guiding planning and supporting the launch.
“I’m excited to see the partnership unfold.”
