Hartnell Taylor Cook names new managing partner
Commercial property consultancy Hartnell Taylor Cook has appointed David North as its new managing partner, succeeding Stuart Howell, who steps down after 12 years in the role.
David has been with the firm for 25 years, working across agency and asset management disciplines in the Bristol and London offices.
He brings extensive experience in developing teams, driving innovation and expanding client services, positioning the business for its next phase of growth.
David said: “My first professional role after I graduated was with Hartnell Taylor Cook in 2000.
“After a huge amount of support and mentoring here I am, 25 years later, about to become managing partner – and I couldn’t be more honoured.
“This business is a truly special place, powered by a group of incredible, hard-working people and I am immensely grateful to them for trusting me to lead us into a brilliant future.
“Thank you, Stuart, for leading the charge these past years; the business is in the best shape it’s ever been and I look forward to working with everyone to deliver even greater results for our company and clients.”
Stuart will remain a partner, focusing on the company’s expanding property and asset management portfolio.
He added: “I’m proud to be stepping down with the business in such good shape.
“There is no one better placed for the managing partner role than David.
“His quarter century of experience with the company, commitment to excellence and proven track record makes him the perfect choice to lead Hartnell Taylor Cook.
“I’m very pleased that I am able to hand over the reins to such a worthy successor.”
David’s appointment follows a period of significant growth for the firm, with revenue nearly doubling to £10.6 million and the team now comprising 125 professionals.
