Caddick breathes new life into riverside mill

A property company has completed the transformation of a historic riverside workplace in Leeds.

Wakefield-based Caddick has finished its extensive refurbishment of Rose Wharf, a Grade II-listed building near Leeds Dock, working with interior design firm Design Tonic. 

The seven-storey former flax mill now offers furnished suites, flexible workspaces and “best-in-class amenities”. 

With sustainability at its core, Rose Wharf also features solar panels, air source heat pumps, EV charging and facilities for cycling. 

Hollie Shackleton, associate director at Caddick, said: “We’re excited to have already welcomed a number of new occupiers to the Rose Wharf community, and are looking forward to the opportunities that the refurbishment will provide to future tenants. 

“The building’s transformation reflects our commitment to creating a vibrant, inspiring workspace that supports businesses’ collaboration, wellbeing and growth.”

The project has already attracted new tenants including Rabbit Hole Coffee, Dowes Investments, Ridings and Fundi Commercial Finance Ltd, alongside existing occupiers such as Curtins and Design Tonic.

The remaining available space is being marketed by Fox Lloyd Jones and Carter Towler.
