Rick Stein returns to Morpeth
Food lovers in Northumberland have a date to mark in their diaries this November.
Legendary chef, author and broadcaster Rick Stein is returning to Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth on Thursday, November 13 for an exclusive book signing at Waterstones.
The visit coincides with the launch of his new festive cookbook, Rick Stein’s Christmas, published by BBC Books.
Rick’s first dedicated Christmas cookbook features more than 100 recipes, offering inspiration for the holiday season.
From roast goose and glazed ham to mince pies and clever ways to use leftovers, the book also includes personal memories and family traditions, making it a celebration of festive food and storytelling.
Fans in the region are expected to turn out in numbers, following the success of Stein’s previous visit to Sanderson Arcade in 2023, when hundreds queued for his Simple Suppers cookbook despite the chilly November weather.
Caroline Dominey, manager at Waterstones in Morpeth, said: “This promises to be another highlight of our events’ calendar.
“Rick is such a household name, and we know this book signing will once again create a real sense of excitement across Morpeth with his fans.”
Visitors are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
