Worldline names new chief financial officer
French payment processing company Worldline has appointed Srikanth Seshadri as chief financial officer and member of the executive committee.
An experienced international finance leader, Srikanth brings expertise in financial control, corporate finance and funding.
He succeeds Gregory Lambertie, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.
Srikanth began his career at Arthur Andersen in audit and technology risk consulting before joining Alstom in 2002.
For over two decades he has held senior finance and strategy roles across Europe and Asia, including divisional chief financial officer for Digital & Integrated Systems and group head of treasury and financing.
He played a key role in major transformations, including integrating Bombardier’s Signalling business and supporting Alstom’s deleveraging to stabilise its investment grade outlook.
Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, chief executive of Worldline, said: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Srikanth Seshadri to our executive committee as chief financial officer.
“His broad international background and demonstrated expertise in complex financial environments will be highly valuable as Worldline advances its transformation and maintains its emphasis on financial discipline.
“I would also like to extend my gratitude to Gregory Lambertie.
“Gregory has played a pivotal role in the Group’s growth journey, first at Ingenico and then within Worldline, contributing to the creation of a leading European payments provider.
“As chief financial officer, his strong commitment to the Group’s key strategic projects while securing our refinancing has prepared us well for the next phase.
“In line with his commitment to Worldline, Gregory will ensure the smoothest possible transition to Srikanth.”
