Landwood Group adds building consultancy director
Manchester-based property firm Landwood Group has launched a new building consultancy and project management division, appointing Darren Kibble as director to lead the service.
The division will provide advice across building surveying, project management and estate development, expanding Landwood’s offering for investors, developers, occupiers and funders.
Darren brings more than 20 years of experience from consultancy and client-side roles, having previously worked with Faithful+Gould, Knight Frank and the University of Salford.
He joins from Currie & Brown, where he directed building surveying operations across Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham, rebuilding the Manchester team and delivering projects across healthcare, education, commercial and public sectors.
At Landwood, Darren will oversee the development of the new division, with a focus on innovation, client engagement and sector diversification.
Darren said: “Landwood offers a proactive, collaborative approach that stands apart from traditional corporate models.
“After years in large advisory firms, I was motivated by the opportunity to lead a division that blends technical expertise with practical solutions for complex projects.
“With rising costs and rapidly changing planning regulations in a highly challenging construction sector, strategic, agile advice is now more critical than ever.
“Our division provides forward-looking guidance to help clients navigate these complexities and succeed.”
Mark Bailey, partner at Landwood Group, added: “We are deliberately developing a new arm of the business to respond to rising demand for expert building consultancy and project management.
“Darren brings the experience and vision to make that happen.
“At Landwood, we pride ourselves on a down-to-earth, hands-on culture that delivers real impact.
“By having all the right experts under one roof, we can deliver maximum value for our clients.
“Darren’s track record with major national projects, combined with his expertise in digital transformation and client-focused delivery, ensures this new division can provide high-quality solutions that align with our clients’ ambitions.”
