UNiDAYS appoints chief people officer
UNiDAYS, the world’s largest student affinity network with over 29 million verified members, has appointed Mona Akiki as chief people officer to support its next phase of global growth and transformation.
Mona will lead people and culture strategy across the business, supporting 250 employees worldwide.
Based in London, she will focus on engagement, organisational performance and employee experience.
She brings over 25 years of leadership experience, having held senior roles at Perkbox and CPP Investments, where she oversaw major transformation and growth initiatives.
Mona said: “With students continuing to shape both culture and commerce, UNiDAYS’ unique proposition has never been more relevant – and that’s one of the reasons I'm delighted to be joining the leadership team as chief people officer.
“As we continue to prioritise our people, I’m looking forward to working with Jon and the team to drive a strong culture, shape an exceptional employee experience and build an environment where talent can grow and succeed.”
Mona’s appointment underscores UNiDAYS’ commitment to scaling sustainably, strengthening its culture and building a world-class employee experience as it accelerates global expansion.
Jon Hawley, chief executive of UNiDAYS, added: “Mona’s appointment is a significant milestone for UNiDAYS.
“She has an outstanding track record of leading transformations and developing strong, people-first cultures.
“As we continue to grow and evolve our operating model, her experience will be vital and will ensure that we have a world-class team to support our global ambitions.”
