Bellway homes sell out in Skelton
A Newcastle-headquartered homebuilder has seen strong demand for its latest development.
Bellway’s Castlegate project in Skelton, featuring 140 three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached homes on Bowland Road, has sold out ahead of schedule.
Since its 2022 launch, the development has proved one of the region’s most popular, reflecting the appeal of the East Cleveland area.
During its time in Skelton, Bellway has actively supported the local community, partnering with Skelton Primary School, Outwood Academy and Redcar & Cleveland Council on seasonal events, educational initiatives and a play area refurbishment.
Bellway Yorkshire continues to build across Yorkshire, with current developments in Beverley, Brough, Kirk Ella, Skipton, Snaith and Brigg, in Lincolnshire.
Paula Murdoch, sales manager at Bellway Yorkshire, said: “We’ve enjoyed a lot of success in this area of North Yorkshire over the years and Castlegate was always going to follow-suit.
“Its strong mix of homes and picture postcard location combining with the benefits of being close to coast, country and a number of large towns and cities to create a perfect place to call home.
“And Skelton itself adds further weight to the appeal of the development; with the town ticking all the boxes as a place to live.
“It’s busy, extremely welcoming and has some great local amenities, while house prices are extremely competitive.”
