John N Dunn Group promotes operations manager

John N Dunn Group has promoted Dan Taylor to operations manager within its Yorkshire division, continuing the company’s culture of internal progression.

Based in the Leeds office, Dan marks 15 years with the firm this year and previously worked as a senior contracts manager. 

His promotion reflects the long-term career opportunities available at the Group, which employs over 300 people across Newcastle, Leeds and Edinburgh.

Dan said: “I first came across John N Dunn Group after spotting a van on a call-out and decided to get in touch. 

“It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made.

“I started on site as a plumber, then progressed through trainee supervisor, supervisor, contracts manager and senior contracts manager roles before becoming operations manager. 

“The great thing about the company is that if you work hard, the opportunity for progression is there.”

The Yorkshire division, home to 76 staff, has been central to the company’s transition to low-carbon technologies, including air source heat pumps. 

It is also celebrating several long-service milestones this year and recently welcomed two new apprentices, strengthening the pipeline of future talent.
