Newsteer expands planning team
Specialist real estate advisory firm Newsteer has strengthened its planning team with a series of appointments over the last six months, reflecting the firm’s focus on strategic growth.
Jamie Alba-Duignan, a chartered town planner, joins the team with experience in delivering planning applications and site promotions across commercial, retail, light industrial and mixed-use sectors.
She brings expertise in aligning stakeholder priorities and navigating complex planning frameworks.
Harry Capstick, a chartered RTPI planner, guides projects from inception to delivery across logistics, commercial, roadside, residential, mixed-use and retail sectors.
Earlier this year, Mark Battersby joined the team, specialising in planning applications, Section 73 applications, listed building consents and planning appeals, with in-depth knowledge of green belt and grey belt sites.
Finally, Oyebola (Bola) Ogundipe joins as assistant planner, contributing experience in planning appraisals, applications and appeals across residential and commercial schemes, including sensitive areas such as the green belt and conservation areas.
Alastair Crowdy, managing director at Newsteer, said: “At Newsteer, we believe the best way to invest in our client relationships is by investing in our people.
“We’re therefore delighted to welcome such a strong group of new talent to the team, further strengthening our planning offer.
“These appointments are an important step in our strategic growth journey, building on last year’s investment in our occupier advisory team.
“As we expand across all services to support a growing client base, we’re excited to bring together exceptional expertise that delivers unique real estate solutions – going beyond advice to shape the next chapter of our growth.”
