TXP bolsters leadership with new CFO

TXP (Technology x People), the Birmingham-based systems integrator specialising in tech consulting, development and resourcing, has appointed Nick Southwell as group chief finance officer, strengthening the leadership team and supporting the company’s ongoing growth.

Nick brings extensive private equity and M&A experience, alongside a proven record of building high-performing finance organisations.

He was most recently chief financial officer at Tenzing-backed Activpayroll, a global payroll and mobility specialist, where he helped significantly increase sales and EBITDA over four years.

He has also held senior finance roles at Evaluate, a data analysis provider for pharmaceuticals, as well as Valueworks, a platform reducing housing maintenance costs.

Nick said: “TXP has a unique proposition for the UK mid-market, so I look forward to using my experience to help drive the company’s next stage of growth.

“It’s an organisation built on excellence, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success.”

Backed by Aliter Capital, TXP delivers end-to-end digital transformation, combining IT consultancy, technology development and people resourcing to meet the modernisation, cloud, data and AI needs of mid-market organisations.

As part of its three-year growth plan, TXP aims to double its headcount through a mix of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, including the recent purchase of modernisation specialist Metatech in May.

John Antunes, chief executive of TXP, added: “Nick has an outstanding background, so we are delighted to welcome him to TXP.

“We’re confident his considerable experience will add great value to the board and enable us to accelerate the growth of the business.”
