Clearpoint launches certified broker scheme
A Yorkshire-based recycling company is creating new pathways into the waste management sector.
Clearpoint Recycling has launched its Certified Broker Scheme, an initiative aimed at helping young people and aspiring independent brokers build careers in recycling.
Bosses say the programme provides access to Clearpoint’s compliance expertise, logistics network, financial stability and international trading platforms, offering both training and mentoring.
They add it gives participants the chance to develop entrepreneurial skills while benefiting from the support of an established employer.
William Lee, founder and chief executive of Clearpoint Recycling, said: “Brokers are a vital part of the recycling industry, but many are struggling due to market volatility, legislative uncertainty and increased competition.
“With our Certified Broker Scheme, we’re creating a safe, profitable trading environment – and at the same time, opening the door for ambitious young people across the North of England to build careers in an industry that matters.
“They can work independently, make good money and contribute to a more sustainable future.
“All while having the support of a company with a proven, stable infrastructure.”
Profitrash, one of the scheme’s early adopters, has already reported clear benefits.
Managing director Kamil Walczak said: “The onboarding process was very simple, and the Clearpoint team guided us throughout.
“We were able to get up and running immediately and saw revenues increase in the first month.”
The launch follows Clearpoint’s recent multi-million-pound partnership with UK PET recycling leader Enviroo and comes amid rapid expansion, with projected 2025 turnover set to exceed £20 million, representing more than 20 per cent year-on-year growth and underscoring its commitment to innovation and a circular economy.
