Bradford company backs prestigious Turner Prize
Shipley-based event production company Amplitude has joined Bradford 2025’s corporate champions as a sponsor of this year’s Turner Prize, supporting the prestigious visual arts exhibition and awards at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, running until February 2026.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Amplitude began as an AV production company supplying PA systems, projectors and staging.
Today, it has evolved into a full-service events specialist; delivering event management, technical production, virtual and hybrid events for clients nationwide and its work ranges from intimate local projects to large-scale government summits.
As a Bradford 2025 supplier, Amplitude has also contributed to The Beacon touring venue and The Railway Children production, expanding its expertise into the arts and cultural sector while strengthening links between local business and culture.
Matthew Corcoran, managing director of Amplitude, said: "Being part of Bradford 2025 has given us the opportunity to work on projects that are bigger and more ambitious than anything we’ve done before.
‘The Beacon has pushed us to grow our skills and to build relationships with the cultural sector that will last well beyond this year.
“To sponsor and be directly involved in delivering this year’s Turner Prize – one of the world’s most prestigious art awards – is a huge milestone for us as a business.
“We’re proud to be a Bradford company contributing to a City of Culture programme that is inspiring people and making a real difference in our district."
Dan Bates, executive director of Bradford 2025, added: “Bradford 2025 is not just about the events we’re creating today – it’s about building a foundation for the future.
“Amplitude’s journey shows how local businesses can grow through collaboration with the arts, while also bringing their expertise and innovation to the sector.”
