Crowe promotes partner in tax team
London-based national audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm Crowe has promoted Hayley Ives to partner, strengthening its tax resolutions team.
Hayley brings more than 18 years of experience supporting taxpayers through complex interactions with HMRC, including fraud investigations, disputes, self-assessment challenges and voluntary disclosures.
She works with a wide range of clients across the UK, from high-net-worth individuals to trustees and company directors, with a particular focus on trusts, estates and offshore matters.
Hayley is a CTA-qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and holds the STEP Diploma in tax and estate planning.
She said: “I am thrilled about my promotion to partnership at Crowe.
“This is a time of accelerated change for tax transparency and enforcement.
“HMRC now has unprecedented access to data which, when paired with the capabilities of AI, has the potential to widen the scope for investigations more than ever before.
“There is a growing demand for specialists who can guide taxpayers through increasing scrutiny with clarity and confidence.
“I look forward to working alongside John Cassidy and Sean Wakeman to expand Crowe’s offering in this area and help our clients navigate this evolving landscape.”
Her promotion forms part of Crowe’s wider growth strategy, alongside the recent partner appointments of Matthew Howard and Marc Newman.
Nigel Bostock, chief executive of Crowe UK, added: “Congratulations to Hayley on her well-deserved promotion to the partnership.
“Her expertise will be instrumental in further strengthening our Tax Resolutions capabilities and the support we offer to clients.
“The team, combined with Hayley’s experience, is well-placed to help clients navigate the complexities of HMRC investigations, disclosures and disputes, and understand their obligations.”
