JMG Group strengthens regional presence
JMG Group, a Yorkshire-based insurance broker, has accelerated its regional growth with the addition of three established firms.
Solihull’s Boston Insurance Brokers, Kendal’s Hayton Insurance Brokers and Edinburgh-based Gateway Insurance Services have all joined the group, bringing local expertise and strengthened commercial capabilities.
Rob Boston will continue to lead Boston Insurance Brokers, while Neil Hayton and Gareth McCallum will retain leadership of their respective businesses.
The acquisitions expand JMG Group’s footprint across the UK, including its first office in the Lake District and a new base in Edinburgh, supporting the Group’s ambition to offer wider insurance markets while maintaining the independent approach and strong local relationships of each firm.
Nick Houghton, JMG Group chief executive, said: “We’re investing in great businesses with great people and these are no exception.
“They will continue under their existing leadership and retain their regional identities, ensuring business continuity for clients, while benefiting from our enhanced trading capabilities, market access and investment that comes with being part of a larger group.”
