Reward appoints data engineering director
Global customer engagement and commerce media company Reward has appointed Bhagya Reddy as director of data engineering.
Bhagya brings more than 20 years of experience in data and AI leadership, having held senior roles at Virgin Media O2, UBS, BT Group and McKinsey (Quantum Black).
She has led global teams across the UK, India, USA, Australia and Brazil, delivering large-scale data platforms, AI models and analytics solutions.
In her new role, Bhagya will strengthen Reward’s data engineering capabilities, powering its AI-driven Intelligence Suite and converting first-party banking data into actionable insights for brands worldwide.
She is also a strong advocate for advancing underrepresented talent in technology.
Bhagya said: “Reward’s insights products are growing rapidly and redefining how data drives value for brands and customers.
“I’m excited to help shape the data strategy that underpins these products, ensuring we can innovate at scale and deliver insights that truly change the way brands connect with customers.
“I’m also proud to join a company that shares my commitment to building diverse, inclusive teams that reflect the future of tech.”
Reward continues to grow its global footprint with innovative platforms, including RewardIQ and DemandInsight, reshaping how retailers and brands understand customer behaviour and drive growth.
Killian O'Rawe, senior vice president of global delivery, technology and operations at Reward, added: “Bhagya joins us at a pivotal time as we expand globally and scale our data capabilities.
“She has a proven track record of building engineering teams that deliver real technical impact, and that expertise will be key as we optimise our platforms and embed AI more deeply into our products.
“The strength of our data isn’t just in its scale, but in how we transform it into insights that help brands grow – and Bhagya will play a central role in making that happen.”
