TaperedPlus appoints regional manager
Stockton-on-Tees-based flat roofing and insulation specialist TaperedPlus has appointed Ian Sumner as business development manager for the Midlands and South West of England.
Ian brings more than 20 years of sales and technical experience in the roofing and waterproofing industry, having held senior roles at Proteus Waterproofing, Langley Waterproofing Systems, Sika Roofing and SIG plc.
Ian said: “TaperedPlus is a dynamic company with a great reputation for technical expertise and client-focused service.
“I’m excited to be part of its continued growth and look forward to working closely with contractors, architects and consultants across the Midlands and South West to deliver high-performing, sustainable roofing solutions.”
Ian’s appointment forms part of TaperedPlus’s regional sales expansion following a £5.5 million investment from BGF, enabling dedicated business development managers to strengthen client relationships and improve service delivery.
Founded in 2014, TaperedPlus is an independent B Corp™ certified company with a technical design studio in Wolverhampton.
Chief revenue officer Rob Vass added: “We’re delighted to welcome Ian to the team.
“His strong track record and established relationships within the sector are invaluable as we build on our growth momentum.
“Having someone of his calibre ensures we can respond quickly and effectively to the needs of clients in these regions.”
