Sherwen Studios hires head of experience
Sherwen Studios, the Chester-based digital consultancy for transformation, AI and automation, has appointed James Ferguson as its new head of experience.
James will establish a new experience design practice, integrating AI into product, service and digital experience design while embedding design excellence across the business.
He brings extensive expertise, having delivered more than 150 outcome-based workshops and driving significant profit growth for clients.
James said: “This has been an incredibly exciting time to join Sherwen Studios.
“They have a great track record of working with some high-profile names and they have an ambitious vision for the future.
“But what is most apparent is that the team never loses sight of what really matters to their clients.
“Throughout the business, everything is focused on delivering best practice solutions for what clients genuinely need for long-term success which is exactly how I like to work.
“It’s really exciting to work with a team who understand the need to combine technology and creativity with customer value.”
James’ appointment follows a year of record-breaking growth for Sherwen Studios, which has seen revenue rise 101 per cent year on year and nine new hires since March 2024.
Matt Sherwen, managing director of Sherwen Studios added: “James has fitted in perfectly with the team, and his experience is crucial to our new service proposition which we launched earlier this year.
“It’s been a pleasure welcoming him to our senior team and his expertise has been instrumental in helping our staff and our clients react to the ever-changing impact of transformations, AI and automation.”
