SuperHeroes appoints creative director
SuperHeroes has appointed Anirudh Shiva as its new creative director, marking his return to the agency after four years.
Anirudh will lead the agency’s creative output, helping clients stand out in a fast-changing media landscape, while also building the creative team and attracting top talent.
He previously worked at SuperHeroes before roles at Boomerang and Gospooky, and brings international experience from India and Dubai with brands including JBL, Heineken, Spotify and Diesel Jeans.
His work has received recognition from Cannes Lions, The Webbys, Dubai Lynx and other global awards.
Anirudh said: “Everybody loves a good comeback story, right?
“While a lot has changed since I was last here, the agency’s core philosophy stayed the same – create jaw-dropping, thumb-stopping, eye-popping work with many laughs along the way.
“That’s something that really resonates with me.
“I really appreciate all the belief Django and Rogier have shown in me, and I’m thrilled to be leading a very promising team – this time with extra superpowers driven by innovation and social-first thinking.”
Django Weisz Blanchetta, chief executive hero at SuperHeroes, added: “When Ani got in touch, we knew he’d be a great fit to lead the creative team.
“We already knew he was one of us, but now he has acquired new superpowers and battle-tested experience.
“We’re excited for Ani to lead the creative department in the ultimate fight against boring advertising in a world ruled by AI.”
