Firm refreshes Newcastle office
A Newcastle-based accountancy and business services firm has completed an office refurbishment.
PKF Smith Cooper Systems has modernised its office at Metropolitan House, three years after expanding the space, which bosses say reflects the company’s continued growth and commitment to the North East.
They add the refurbishment has created a more collaborative and functional environment for staff, with a new layout and state-of-the-art desks supplied by Advanced Commercial Interiors, while the office’s previous furniture was donated to St Oswald’s Hospice.
The next phase of the project will introduce new storage solutions and artwork to further enhance the space.
To mark the milestone, the Newcastle team enjoyed a celebratory lunch, featuring catering from Deep North and Sweet and Fair.
Managing director Chris Smith said: “Whilst we understand that hybrid working is the new normal, we still love our physical office spaces and work hard to make them the best they can be for our team.
“The refurbishment of our Newcastle office is the natural next step for us, as more and more colleagues join us in the North East and we expand our presence in Sage’s heartland territory.”
Since opening in 2018, PKF Smith Cooper Systems’ Newcastle office has developed into a central hub for its development, client services, support and consultancy teams.
