Advisory firm eyes growth after city office milestone
A financial advisory firm is eyeing staff expansion after hitting an operational milestone.
Ryecroft Glenton plans to bolster its Yorkshire-based corporate finance offer.
Bosses say the blueprint will “support its expanding pipeline of work”.
The move comes as Ryecroft Glenton celebrates the first anniversary of its York office.
Operating from the city’s Micklegate, the firm says the base has helped secure a number of corporate finance clients across Yorkshire and the Humber.
They add it has boosted the firm’s participation in hosting and supporting high-profile events, including a breakfast gathering at Merchant Taylors’ Hall with Thirsk and Malton MP Kevin Hollinrake.
It has also formed a relationship with the business department at York St John University on a new student research project.
Nick Johnson, corporate finance partner, said: “York has proven to be the ideal location for our Yorkshire office.
“We’ve been made to feel very welcome by the city’s business community and have enjoyed an incredibly positive first year.
“As we move into our second year, we are excited about expanding our team locally to meet demand.”
Ryecroft Glenton has further offices in Newcastle, Morpeth, Whitley Bay and London.
