DPP Planning welcomes new Newcastle graduates
North East-based planning consultancy DPP Planning has strengthened its Newcastle office with four new graduate assistant planners.
Charlie Dixon, who previously completed work experience with DPP in 2024, and Newcastle University Geography undergraduate Lauren Raeburn-Ward were joined by Moira Maguire and Eleanor Loughlin, also pursuing degrees at Newcastle University.
The appointments form part of DPP’s largest graduate intake, with eight new assistant planners starting across its Newcastle, Leeds and Cardiff offices in 2025.
Gareth Hooper, chief executive of DPP Planning, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Charlie, Moira, Lauren and Eleanor to our Newcastle office.
“They bring real energy, enthusiasm and a variety of skills that will strengthen the team as we continue to deliver for our clients.
“It’s especially pleasing to see so many of our new recruits coming from Newcastle University, which is helping us to nurture and retain planning talent in the region.
“As a business, we are committed to investing in the next generation of planners.
“Taking on our highest ever number of graduates this year demonstrates that commitment, and we’re excited to support our Newcastle intake as they develop their careers with us.”
