Praxis appoints retail leader at St. Enoch Centre
Praxis, owner and asset manager of St. Enoch Centre since May 2025, has appointed Martin Botha as centre director for the Glasgow retail and leisure destination.
With more than 20 years of experience in Scottish retail management, Martin joins from Edinburgh’s Omni Centre, where he spent six years helping develop a vibrant leisure quarter.
He has also held centre manager roles at Antonine Shopping Centre and Edinburgh Waverley Mall, bringing a proven track record in driving footfall, tenant engagement and overall centre performance.
Martin said: “I am thrilled to join Praxis as centre director at St. Enoch Centre during such a pivotal moment in its evolution.
“St. Enoch Centre has established itself as a premier hub in the heart of the city, renowned for its diverse tenant mix, dedicated customer base, and strong ties to the Glasgow community.
“However, I believe we are just scratching the surface of its true potential.
“Building on the impressive momentum we've gained this year, including several exciting new signings and a robust pipeline of opportunities, I am eager to work alongside the team to enhance the Centre's offerings and solidify its status as Glasgow's retail and leisure destination of choice.
“There is still ample opportunity for growth and innovation ahead."
Since Praxis acquired St. Enoch Centre, the property has welcomed a host of new openings, including fashion brand UNIQLO and restaurant chain Monterey Jacks.
In his new role, Martin will oversee these developments and build on the momentum to further enhance the Centre’s offerings and visitor experience.
Ilan Goldman, director – retail at Praxis, added: “With his extensive background in centre management, Martin brings a wealth of experience, vital skills and an acute understanding of Scotland’s evolving retail and leisure landscape, to positively shape the future of St. Enoch Centre.”
