Urban Splash expands team with seven hires
Manchester-based award-winning regeneration company Urban Splash has strengthened its national team with seven new appointments across its commercial, residential, development and IT divisions.
Richard Lace joins as head of commercial lettings, bringing over a decade of experience at OBI, where he was involved in high-profile deals including an 18,000sq ft lease with Hill Dickinson and a 45,000sq ft transaction with Virgin Media O2.
He previously held roles at GVA (now Avison Young).
Richard said: “Urban Splash has always been one of the most progressive names in UK regeneration, with a track record of creating places that people and businesses genuinely want to be part of.
“I’m looking forward to supporting the business as it continues to invest in and reposition its commercial portfolio, ensuring our workspaces remain ahead of the curve and attractive to the next generation of occupiers.”
Other new appointments include Kirsty Woo as customer host in the commercial team in Liverpool; Grace Smith as residential consultant; Rahma Sow as maintenance and compliance coordinator; Rhys Richards as development assistant; and Anslem Shadenyi as IT support engineer.
The new team members will support Urban Splash’s ongoing projects and contribute to the company’s national growth plans.

Nathan Cornish, group board director at Urban Splash, added: “Richard is hugely respected in the industry, and appointing someone of his calibre into our commercial business is another demonstration of our continued investment into our new commercial and already developed assets that we hold.
“With almost a million sq ft of space and another half a million on the way I think Richard’s going to be busy!
Nathan added: “We are entering a new era of development at Urban Splash, with exciting opportunities ahead – from new projects such as Festival Gardens in Liverpool and multiple sites across Swansea, to the final phases of landmark regeneration schemes like Park Hill in Sheffield.
“These appointments strengthen our ability to deliver each of these, all while continuing to look after the existing communities, homes, and workplaces that we have spent decades creating.
“Richard, Grace, Kirsty, Rahma, Rhys and Anslem each bring fresh skills and energy as we build on our legacy while shaping the next generation of places.”
