YFM appoints new head of North

Private equity firm YFM Equity Partners (YFM), headquartered in Leeds, has appointed Neil Inskip as head of new investments, North, to drive regional investment across its Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham offices.

Neil brings nearly 20 years of private equity experience and will oversee new investment activity while supporting regional teams and sitting on YFM’s investment committee.

He joins from BGF, where he led teams across the North West and Midlands and was responsible for more than a dozen investments, including several high-profile exits.

Neil said: “YFM has a great platform, a strong reputation in the regions and an exciting market opportunity. 

“I’m looking forward to working with the partners, growing our team, driving new investment activity, and building on the fantastic portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses the firm already backs.

Neil’s appointment strengthens YFM’s regional leadership as the firm continues to back entrepreneurial businesses across the UK.
