WorkWell unveils new wellbeing space
An office provider is investing in employee wellbeing with new facilities in Harrogate.
WorkWell has launched a wellness area at its Copthall Bridge offices, designed to support both physical and mental health.
The space includes a gym, a treatment room for beauty and wellness therapies, as well as a quiet zone for relaxation during the workday.
The facilities are part of WorkWell’s £10.5 million redevelopment of the 38,000sq ft Copthall Bridge site, which had been vacant for over six years.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the modern workspace blends open-plan areas with quiet zones, meeting rooms, soundproofed booths, and communal spaces for teams of all sizes.
Half of the office space has already been let to a mix of local and international businesses, including Harrogate-based mobile communications firm Mobile Tornado, Danish publishing tech company Chronos Hub and wealth management group S&W, highlighting strong demand for high-quality office space in the town.
To mark the launch and coincide with World Mental Health Day (October 10), WorkWell partnered with Harrogate BID and Mind Harrogate to host a wellbeing event featuring workshops and talks on mental health awareness and workplace wellbeing.
Situated within walking distance to rail and bus links, Copthall Bridge is part of WorkWell’s expanding regional portfolio, which includes offices in Leeds and plans for ten additional sites across the North over the next decade.
Oliver Corrigan, managing director at WorkWell, said: “Creating a space that prioritises wellbeing has been at the heart of our office design.
“We want employees to feel supported, inspired, and able to take care of themselves throughout the workday.
“The new wellness area reflects our commitment to making Copthall Bridge a place people enjoy coming to every day, and we’re delighted by the strong interest from businesses in Harrogate.”
