Fulcrum Group strengthens team
Sheffield-based Fulcrum Group, the independent utility infrastructure and services provider, has appointed Chris Wood as head of work winning as part of its long-term growth strategy.
Chris brings more than 40 years of engineering and infrastructure experience, having progressed from electrical engineering apprentice to director at NG Bailey and most recently serving as head of business development at Enerveo.
In his new role, he will oversee the end-to-end work-winning process across Fulcrum Group’s businesses – including Fulcrum, Dunamis and Maintech Power – maximising opportunities, maintaining client and supplier relationships, and ensuring a seamless experience for customers across all divisions.
Chris said: “Fulcrum, Dunamis and Maintech Power have established a strong reputation for technical excellence and customer-focused delivery in their respective sectors.
“The combined capabilities of these businesses create an exciting opportunity to collaborate and deliver even greater value to customers through integrated solutions.
“There is a clear, ambitious plan for growth, and I see real potential to contribute to that by ensuring every project opportunity is approached strategically and, where we win, delivered successfully.
“Building trusted relationships and consistently delivering value are the foundations of sustainable growth, and I’m looking forward to helping drive that forward across the Group.”
Lindsay Austin, chief executive of Fulcrum Group, added: “Chris brings extensive sector knowledge and a proven track record in developing high-value, long-term customer relationships.
“His appointment strengthens our business development capability and supports our strategic focus on collaboration across Fulcrum, Dunamis and Maintech Power.
“This joined-up approach will ensure we continue to deliver efficient, high-quality infrastructure solutions and drive sustainable growth across the Group.”
