Leonard Curtis bolsters South Yorkshire team
Professional services group Leonard Curtis has strengthened its South Yorkshire presence with the appointment of Lauren Maloney as business development manager in its funding team.
Lauren brings more than 15 years’ experience in commercial finance and banking, having started her career with NatWest and Santander.
Based in the Sheffield office, she will connect businesses with suitable funding solutions, leveraging Leonard Curtis’s network of lenders to support clients’ immediate needs and long-term growth.
Lauren said: “Leonard Curtis benefits from a specialist focus on SMEs and owner-managed businesses which sets it apart in the market. While many brokers simply match clients with lenders, the support offered by Leonard Curtis is much broader, combining finance, restructuring, legal and strategic support in one place, providing clients with a complete solution rather than fragmented advice.”
Lauren’s appointment underlines the firm’s commitment to expanding in the region and enhancing its ability to provide tailored finance solutions to UK SMEs and mid-market businesses.
Becky Owen, head of funding at Leonard Curtis, added: “We are really pleased to welcome Lauren to the funding team.
“She brings a strong reputation in the market and an established network; both key to being able to hit the ground running, working with our introducer base and their clients to provide vital access to funding and navigate the ever-changing lending landscape.”
Danielle Shore, restructuring and insolvency director at Leonard Curtis, added: “We're thrilled to welcome Lauren to the Sheffield team.
“Her extensive experience and dedication to delivering exceptional results will allow local businesses access to new opportunities at every stage of their business lifecycle.
“This marks an exciting step forward for both the region and the funding team.”
