Calbee UK bolsters foodservice team
Calbee UK, owner of Seabrook Crisps, has expanded its foodservice team with the appointment of Hannah Wakeford as national account manager.
Previously a senior client executive at Morrisons Media Group, Hannah will be responsible for driving commercial strategy and developing long-term relationships across the foodservice market.
She said: “I am really looking forward to getting out and meeting with customers.
“It is important to me that this is at the core of everything we do – doing great work with great people.
“I also want to collaborate closely with partners – listening to their feedback, strengthening relationships, and driving forward together in what promises to be an exciting year for Calbee.”
Calbee UK, part of Calbee Inc. – Japan’s leading snack manufacturer – produces a range of crisps and snacks and employs more than 250 people across its manufacturing sites in Bradford and Deeside.
Chris Goodman, head of wholesale, foodservice and symbols at Calbee Group UK, added: “We are very pleased to announce Hannah’s appointment to the team.
“With years of experience in grocery retail, we know that she will be a real asset to us, bringing fresh, new ideas and an approach which very much supports our challenger brand positioning.
“We have some really exciting plans for 2026, so having Hannah on board to communicate this with our customers and prospects is great.”
