Carter Towler expands with AWS deal
A property consultancy is strengthening its regional presence across the North.
Leeds-based Carter Towler has expanded its property management services through the acquisition of the property management division of AWS Property Consultants.
The deal sees AWS property management director Rob Wright join Carter Towler, along with four members of his team, enhancing the firm’s capabilities across Yorkshire and the wider region.
Ian Greenwood, managing director of Carter Towler, said: “This acquisition reflects our ongoing investment in expanding our core services and providing the highest standards of property management.
“It also underlines our commitment to sustainable growth and client service excellence.”
With the addition of the AWS team, Carter Towler’s property management department now includes 35 surveyors, compliance, accounting and support staff overseeing more than 6500 tenancies across the UK.
The team provides a full spectrum of services, from strategic asset management and lease management to tenant liaison, rent and service charge collection, maintenance supervision and energy and insurance procurement.
Rob said: “Carter Towler has one of the leading independent property management operations outside of London, and we’re excited to contribute to the next phase of its growth.
“We will continue to work closely with AWS co-founder Nick Arundel to ensure continuity for long-standing agency client relationships.”
Matt Faulkes, director at Carter Towler, added: “We’ve worked alongside AWS for many years and have always held their team in high regard.
“They have built a strong reputation across the region, and there is a clear alignment in our approach to client services and portfolio management.
“This integration significantly enhances our capacity and capabilities.”
The acquisition follows Carter Towler’s relocation last year to larger offices on Wellington Street in Leeds, a move designed to support the firm’s long-term growth strategy.
