Dunlop serves up new padel partnership

A new leisure facility is set to bring padel to the heart of Bradford.

Salus Padel, which opens its first city centre courts later this month, has teamed up with global sports brand Dunlop Sports as its official padel equipment and ball partner. 

The move marks the first padel courts in Bradford city centre.

Dunlop will supply bats and balls for the venue’s four panoramic padel courts, which sit inside a state-of-the-art mixed-use leisure complex developed by Bene Leisure. 

Alongside padel, the facility will also feature cricket nets and simulators from HiTZ Cricket, a sauna and ice baths, a modern café by CAWA Coffee and a dedicated viewing area. 

A gym and Pilates studio are planned to open early next year, creating a multi-sport hub focused on health, wellbeing and community.

Jim Lord, director of development and partnerships at Salus Padel, said: “We want to do padel differently, and create a sense of belonging for all players who want to come and enjoy padel. 

“Dunlop felt like the perfect brand to partner with, and we are very grateful for their support.

“You will be able to use the Dunlop bats and balls at Wardley House in Bradford, once we open this month. 

We look forward to seeing the equipment in action, as well as the community of Bradford enjoying the space and having fun.”
