Pure Block doubles up at national awards
A Hull-based property management company has been recognised for its rapid growth and successful projects.
Pure Block Management has been named a double finalist at the Property Management Awards 2025, shortlisted for ‘Scale-Up Property Management Company of the Year’ and ‘Major Works Project of the Year’.
The awards celebrate innovation and achievement across the UK residential property management sector, and this year saw record-breaking entries judged to be of an “exceptionally high standard”.
Pure Block’s expansion into York, including the opening of a new Micklegate office, has increased the number of residential blocks and individual units under its management across North Yorkshire.
Judges highlighted Pure Block’s active pipeline of future instructions, growth driven by referrals and tenders, as well as its commitment to delivering value for money through careful retendering of services such as cleaning, gardening and insurance.
The firm has also recognised for its oversight of multiple major works projects, including the full external refurbishment of a Grade II-listed building within a conservation area, which required sensitive restoration of stonework, railings and communal features while meeting conservation and building safety requirements.
Laura Street, associate director of Pure Block Management, said: “We’re thrilled to be shortlisted in two categories at such a prestigious event, particularly as we are being recognised for exceptional work on a large, challenging individual restoration project, and also for our overall growth and development as a business over the past 12 months.
“This is the Oscars of our industry as it is a nationwide awards event, so it is a great testament to what our team has achieved to be recognised as being amongst the best in the business for what we do.”
“We’re reaping the rewards of investment and a 100 per cent commitment to first-class client care, which we know is hugely appreciated by our clients, many of whom have come to us from other management companies who have failed to meet their expectations.
“We’ve added hundreds of units to our books in a year while retaining in excess of 99 per cent of our existing clients.
“We have strengthened our structure with both senior and junior hires, invested in staff development, and deepened our compliance capacity – all without losing our personal touch.”
The awards ceremony will be held in London in November.
