Saffery welcomes 11 new trainees
Chartered accountancy and business advisory firm Saffery has welcomed 11 new trainees to its Leeds office, underlining its continued commitment to developing young professionals.
The new recruits have joined across the firm’s core service areas, with five in tax, five in audit and one in accounts.
Each will follow a structured qualification pathway combining study with hands-on experience, supported by mentors who have recently completed the firm’s trainee programme.
Saffery’s Leeds office provides audit and accounting, corporate tax, VAT, business advisory and personal tax services, alongside specialist expertise in sectors including private wealth, rural business and not-for-profit organisations.
Sally Appleton, partner and head of Saffery’s Leeds office, said: “Our firm’s trainee programme has a strong track record of retention, with many former trainees progressing to senior positions across the business.
“We are pleased to welcome our latest group of trainees to Saffery in Leeds.
Each brings enthusiasm and commitment, qualities that are fundamental to the firm’s culture.
“Developing the next generation of accountants and advisers is essential to sustaining the quality of service we provide to our clients.
“Our expansion in Leeds reflects the increasing demand for high-quality advisory services in the city.
“These trainees join at an important stage in our growth, and we are confident they will make a valuable contribution to both the office and our wider Saffery team.”
