Bentham Golf Course strengthens leadership team

Bentham Golf Course has announced two senior appointments as part of its continued investment in enhancing the member and guest experience.

Matt Stables has been appointed clubhouse manager, bringing extensive hospitality experience to the role.

He will lead on growing the club’s events programme and developing operations to meet the evolving needs of members and visitors.

Meanwhile, Josh Mullen has been promoted to golf retail manager.

Formerly assistant bar manager, Josh brings a deep understanding of the community and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

In his new role, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the golf shop, ensuring a first-class retail experience and strengthening relationships with members and guests.

The new hires come as the club looks ahead to an exciting period of growth through to 2026, with plans to expand its golf, events, and stay-and-play offerings.

John Marshall, operation director, said: “We’ve had a very strong few years of growth across our golf course and stay-and-play business.

“To continue that momentum into the new year, we’re investing in talented people who can help us take the next step forward. Josh and Matt will both play key roles in strengthening our operations and ensuring every player and guest enjoys the best possible experience when they visit.”
