SportShoes.com expands marketing team to drive growth
Shipley-based retailer SportShoes.com has strengthened its marketing team with six new appointments across brand performance, customer relationship management and events, supporting its continued growth strategy.
The online running and outdoor specialist, which stocks more than 17,000 products from 150 global brands, reported record turnover of £93.3 million in its last financial year, up four per cent, with EBITDA rising 13.3 per cent to £6 million.
New hires include Ben Jenkins, who joins as senior partner brand marketing manager after seven years at specialist sports, gaming and entertainment agency Ear to the Ground.
Brand executive Steffi Edwards brings experience from retail brands including Sweaty Betty and Anthropologie.
Meanwhile, senior performance marketing specialist Sian Wells joins from Parcel2Go, while performance marketing executive Lauren Hanson has arrived from online identity platform SmartSearch.com.
Customer relationship management executive Florence Aldridge brings marketing experience from Lights4Fun and Buy It Direct, and accomplished runner Mia France joins as events executive, having previously managed marketing for Ilkley Golf Club.
