XYZ Reality names new CRO
Construction technology company XYZ Reality has promoted Waleed Zafar to chief revenue officer, building on his role as the company’s first employee and mission critical director.
Waleed has been instrumental in driving global client adoption of XYZ Reality’s platform, which supports over 2.5 GW of projects across EMEA, AMER and APAC.
In his new role, he will align revenue and delivery teams to maximise client value, supporting the company’s continued expansion and reinforcing its leadership in construction delivery technology.
His work has already delivered measurable results, including 408 days saved across projects and $135 million in cost efficiencies.
Waleed said: “Our platform doesn’t just improve individual projects – it transforms entire portfolios.
“The intelligence we’re capturing on site is something no one else in the industry can achieve.
“We’re using that data and insight to help developers make faster, smarter decisions – avoiding delays, reducing risk, meeting revenue recognition targets with confidence, and most importantly, building faster.”
Waleed added: “It’s been an incredible journey building XYZ Reality alongside David and our team.
“We’ve gone from an idea to a global technology partner trusted by the world’s most advanced infrastructure developers.
“As CRO, I’m focused on ensuring every client experiences the full value of our platform – helping them build better, faster, and more intelligently than ever before.”
David Mitchell, founder and chief executive of XYZ Reality, added: “Waleed has been at the heart of XYZ Reality from day one.
“From working out of a shoebox-sized office to deploying our technology on some of the world’s most complex mission-critical projects, his leadership and dedication have been constant.
“He’s played a pivotal role in turning our vision into reality – and this next chapter is a testament to his commitment to our clients, our people, and our mission.”
