Eshton Group has appointed Andrew Cooper as a non-executive director, bringing over 40 years of experience in property and construction from his career at Rex Procter & Partners.
Andrew began as an apprentice quantity surveyor and played a key role in landmark projects throughout his 43-year tenure.
At Eshton, he will provide strategic guidance across the company’s industrial, commercial and roadside portfolios, supporting its growth and development plans across England.
Andrew said: “It’s been an incredible journey, working with so many talented people and contributing to projects that have helped shape communities across the region.
“I’m thrilled to join Eshton Group in this next stage of my career, supporting a business whose vision and values align so closely with my own.”
Headquartered in Guiseley, Eshton Group is behind projects including the Northallerton Neighbourhood Centre with Aldi and continues to expand its modern, sustainable property developments in prime locations.
James Chapman, managing director of Eshton Group, added: “Andrew’s depth of experience, industry insight and long-standing commitment to quality make him an exceptional addition to our board.
“His perspective will be invaluable as we continue to deliver sustainable developments that create jobs and opportunities across the region.”
