FFE adds trio of senior lenders

Doncaster-based Finance For Enterprise (FFE) has strengthened its business lending team with the appointments of Simon Quin, Kelvin Smith and Jonathan Pearson.

The trio will support SMEs in accessing funding and financial expertise, while building broker relationships and expanding FFE’s direct lending capabilities.

Simon brings over 25 years’ experience in commercial banking and finance across the North of England.

He said: “I was drawn to FFE because of its culture and team ethos – everyone here shares a genuine commitment to supporting clients and helping them reach their goals.”

Kelvin joins from a career spanning mainstream and alternative finance, including six years as a commercial finance broker.

He added: “Having worked as a broker for several years, I’ve seen first-hand how important strong lender relationships are.

“FFE really appealed to me as an organisation that values collaboration and integrity – I’m looking forward to using my experience to help brokers and their clients succeed.”

And Jonathan, with a HND in Graphic Design, has experience across asset and commercial finance, having worked at Lease Direct Finance, Close Brothers and has run his own brokerage, Cention Finance.

He added: “As a former broker, I know how vital it is to have trusted, long-term relationships with lenders.

“Joining FFE felt like the perfect opportunity to combine my experience with a business that shares my relationship-driven approach.”

FFE is a not-for-profit lender helping SMEs secure loans where traditional lenders are unable to help.

Andrew Austwick, managing director of FFE, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Simon, Kelvin and Jonathan to the team.

“Each brings a wealth of experience, sector knowledge and a shared passion for helping businesses succeed.

“Their appointments will further strengthen our ability to support SMEs across the region with flexible and responsible funding solutions.”
