Local Spiritual Strategist Takes to Stage This Week to Encourage Business Leaders to Embrace Their Quirks
A spiritual strategist from Essex, who left his career as cabin crew after connecting more fully to his intuitive gifts, is preparing to take to the stage in front of 850 people this month, in hopes of influencing others to embrace their quirks and authentic selves.
As someone who combines lived experiences with spiritual insight to empower others, Ben Franklin, 47, from Kirby Cross, is excited to announce that he will be sharing his advice on ‘The Audacity: Becoming More You Than You’ve Ever Been’, pushing others to step out from behind the mask at The Big Festoon later this month- the UK's fastest growing inclusive personal and business development event.
Taking to the stage in front of 6 and 7 figure business owners and founders from across the globe, Ben will be taking his place at the event which runs on 30th and 31st October in Bolton to 'start conversations that matter' following in the footsteps of internationally renowned entrepreneur Daniel Priestley, pop sensation Natasha Hamilton, and music sensation and brand founder Lisa Maffia.
Having spent the last 6 months training for this moment, Ben will join global motivational speaker, international speaker coach, bestselling author and award winning business leader Dani Wallace, who is hosting The Big Festoon, at Bolton Stadium.
On being involved in this event, and being given a prestigious platform through which to share his message Ben said: “I have always been able to see through people- see not just their smile but their soul. I used to hide that part of myself, until I finally realised that my gift deserved to be shared with others, to help leaders and founders claim every part of themselves”.
Dani added: "I am so excited to see Ben take to the stage, and take up some space with his message. What he has to share is so powerful and needs to be heard by more people! Public speaking fear (glossophobia) still sees the majority of people shy away from stepping up on stage so Ben is in a very small minority of people being brave enough to make an impact in this way- we need to get behind them with our support!".
The Founder of Bold Intuition Co. Ben, who openly embraces his neurodivergence, was told by his grandmother at 6 years old that he had gifts -but these often felt isolating as he saw and felt emotions too intense for his years. However, now having come full circle, to build a business around his gifts, Ben is keen to help others to reconnect with themselves in life and business.
He added: “I hope to bring this healing and energy work to business owners in a bid to help them reduce stress and burn out”. As someone who had suffered from depression, learning to trust his intuition was a key part of his recovery process.
The Big Festoon falls during half term so this year it is also running a Mini Festoon, so children and young people can also come and experience their own event that will offer a fun, creative and empowering programme for children. With storytelling, workshops, and hands-on challenges focused on communication, teamwork, and emotional intelligence this is designed to help young people build confidence and curiosity.
Set within the backdrop of inclusivity the talks within The Big Festoon will explore topics spanning Business Growth, Human Design, Identity, Sales and Wellbeing.
Dani said: "This isn't your usual business event - what we explore here are subjects that matter on a very human level - not just on a business level. We talk fears, and limiting beliefs, and about what success really looks and feels like".
This year's Big Festoon is proudly supported by a line-up of inspirational partners: High Level, ADHD360, Shaa Wasmund MBE, The Bloomfields, MenoAid -- The Menopause Subscription Box, and Expert Empires.
Recognised as a 'safe space' for minority and underrepresented groups, The Big Festoon is designed with accessibility at its core and Dani likes to think of it as 'a place people can call home'. The event celebrates people from all backgrounds and lived experiences, united under her core belief that "we are better together" and "we all do well when we all do well."
